With Black Sabbath now sadly done and dusted, there's been a noticeable void in heavy music. Plenty of bands have tried to capture that same dark, riff-driven magic, but few have done it as convincingly as Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats.

For the last few years, SCENE QUEEN has been breaking the mould of what most people expect from metal. In a male-dominated industry where subgenres are taken incredibly seriously, and with the constant questioning of “what or who is metal enough?”, Hannah Collins has kicked the door down and introduced us to “bimbocore”. Yes, there’s pink. Yes, there’s glitter and rhinestones. But on METALICIOUS, there are also some of the heaviest, most guttural vocals you’ll hear.

For those who have ever felt alone in this world, or at the lowest of lows, RØRY’s music has brought comfort to many. It shows that there is, in fact, light at the end of the tunnel; that things can turn around for the better; and that no matter what stage of life you are at, it is never too late. Her first full release RESTORATION proved that last year, and now she is set to release her second album BLOODLETTING on 11th September.
