Brummie legends Black Sabbath have announced possibly the biggest show in Metal history. Re-uniting with original drummer Bill Ward, Sabbath will perform in their home town of Aston at Villa Park on the 5th July 2025, in an event dubbed 'Back To The Beginning' curated by Rage Against The Machine's Tom Morello and Download Festival's Andy Copping.

As if that wasn't impressive enough, Ozzy Osbourne, Geezer Butler, Tony Iommi and Bill Ward will be joined by some of the biggest names in metal. Three out of 'The Big 4', Metallica, Slayer (who had retired themselves in 2019) and Anthrax, will be performing, as well as other huge names in metal.
And that's not all, individual members from iconic bands have been named to perform in a suspected 'Super Group' to honour Black Sabbath and Ozzy's career.
Ghost fans also got a huge surprise when the announcement dropped as fans noticed that Papa Emeritus IV was no more, and Papa V Perpetua will be making an appearance at the event, sparking theories ahead of their own tour in April.
Tickets go on sale on Friday 14th Feb via Ticketmaster. Whilst prices have not been released yet, it has been revealed that all proceeds will go equally to Cure Parkingson's, Birmingham Children's Hospital and Acom Children's Hospice.
This will be possibly the 'Oasis Ticket War' of the metal world, with people all over the globe hoping to snag a ticket to this once-in-a-lifetime event that will most certainly go down in metal history.
