Wednesday 13 - Un-Alive from Pol'and'Rock 2025
Everybody had a Murderdolls phase that never really went away, right? If you say you didn’t, you are definitely lying, or have tragically never been (Un-)alive! (See what I did there?) If, for some strange reason, you haven’t had the pleasure of seeing Wednesday 13 perform live, now you have the chance to hear what you’ve been missing. This new release from Wednesday 13, Un-Alive from Pol'and'Rock, is the full snarling 15-track set recorded at Czaplinek-Broczyno Airfield, Pol’and’Rock Festival 2025.

Being a fan since my early teens, I’ve always loved every album (be it Murderdolls or Wednesday 13), but those songs performed live amplify that gritty element that is so well loved by The Duke of Spook (or, as he is otherwise known, Mr Motherfucker).
This album is loaded with all the big hitters you could want from start to finish. “Blood Fades to Black” kicks off the set, which gets shoved out of the way by the pounding riff for “Look What the Bats Dragged In”. If that doesn’t get your attention, nothing ever will. “Too Fast for Blood” is up next; if you don’t know this one, imagine a really pissed-off, gothic Mötley Crüe, loud, rude and aggressive.
"Rotting Away”, as always, a crowd-pleaser to die hard fans, followed by “I Want You Dead”, with the crowd chanting “DEAD, DEAD, DEAD” to the high-energy anthem from Transylvania 90210.
Raising horns and chugging through “When the Devil Commands” into some Murderdolls all-time favourites, “Summertime Suicide” and “197666”. A short break from the relentless energy with “There’s No Such Thing as Monsters”, then ramping it back up with “In Misery”, a fan fave to sing along with.
“Good Day to Be a Bad Guy” ends with a tribute to the Prince of Darkness himself, Ozzy Osbourne: “Without him we wouldn’t fucking be here. I learnt how to write songs to scare my parents from him.” “Nowhere” and “I Walked with a Zombie” close out the main set, followed by a two-song encore…
First up, the best song from Transylvania 90210, “Bad Things”, which genuinely has some of the best lyrics of a song ever written.
Last but definitely not least is the iconic Murderdolls track “I Love to Say Fuck”. (Now this one probably has the best lyrics!) How else would you want to end a set than with a whole crowd chanting “F, U, C, K” with middle fingers raised?
You want more, you say? Well, the good news is you only have to wait until 25th September for Napalm Records to drop what I’d say is the best live album since Iron Maiden’s Rock in Rio. Yep. I said it (and that album was the definition of perfection).
More good news is that once you’ve listened to this on repeat, you can chant along with Wednesday 13 on the Cursed Blessings tour, with UK dates just announced for 11th, 12th and 13th December!
